Pure Canaiolo Nero from the Cantagallo vineyard, fresh and fragrant, with aromas of red fruit and flowers.
An agile and clean red wine, with smooth and surprisingly fresh drinking.

Canaiolo Vigna Cantagallo is a Tuscan red wine born as one of the most interesting discoveries in Tenute Beltrami’s winemaking journey.
In 2019, for the first time, we decided to vinify pure Canaiolo Nero, immediately obtaining a wine capable of surprising with its freshness, finesse and balance.
The grapes come from the Cantagallo vineyard, planted in 2010 and facing southeast at approximately 250 meters altitude, on soil characterized by a clay base with a light galestro component. After nine years of waiting, the first harvest yielded a wine with a distinct and contemporary personality.
Vinification occurs through fermentation with controlled temperature co-inoculation system, followed by aging in steel and a subsequent period in bottle, a choice that preserves aromatic integrity and the natural expression of the grape variety.
Visually it presents bright red with violet hues; on the nose intense red fruit aromas emerge, currant and cherry, accompanied by delicate floral notes.
On the palate it strikes with its very low tannin presence, an agile structure and extremely clean drinking, confirming the sensations perceived on the nose.
This Chianti Red Wine in modern and refined style can also be appreciated slightly chilled: in warmer months, a brief passage in the refrigerator further enhances its fresh and fruity notes, making it versatile and surprising.
